How to onboard DigitalOcean to Kloudle


Onboarding using OAuth Workflow

This is the preferred workflow to onboard your DigitalOcean cloud account. Kloudle only asks for Read-only access.

From the dropdown choose the DigitalOcean account you want to onboard

Alternative to using OAuth Workflow - Personal Access Tokens


If for any reason you prefer not to onboard using OAuth Workflow you can always generate a DigitalOcean Personal Access Token (PAT) and provide that in the Kloudle Dashboard.


Start by choosing manual mode

You can choose manual mode for switching from OAuth to Personal Access Token

Steps

  1. Login to the DigitalOcean control panel - https://cloud.digitalocean.com
  2. Click the API link in the main navigation, which takes you to the Applications & API page on the Tokens/Keys tab

Click on API in the sidebar

  1. In the Personal access tokens section, click the Generate New Token button

  1. Enter a name for the token, select token expiry as 1 year with Read scope

  1. Copy the generated token and paste it in the Kloudle screen where you selected manual mode
